About Marine Travel

We are looking for a Marine Travel Consultant to join our team servicing companies in the maritime sector. Full-time based in either in our UK office in Canterbury with potentially some flexibility to work from home.

We are the UK leading independent marine travel company operating since 2002 providing travel logistics to a cross section of marine related businesses throughout the UK and Worldwide.

Operating a 24-hour service, with offices based in Canterbury, Dublin, and Manila our reservation team book a variety of flights, hotels, low-cost airlines, and car hire etc to worldwide destinations to ensure crew arrive on time to meet the vessel into port.

The maritime sector is known for fast paced changes and cancellations, so this is a daily part of the life of a marine travel consultant.

The Role

You will be the first point of contact for all travel queries via phone and email. Joining our friendly team in our reservations department and working alongside colleagues in other offices and departments.

Using our extensive collection of net marine fare contracts, you will be quoting domestic and international scheduled flights in both GBP and EUR and will need to confidently offer a selection of airlines and understand the fare requirements and rules. Providing hotel options and other ground arrangements when requested.

No two days are the same with last minute bookings and challenging itineraries to plan this role is an excellent opportunity to expand your travel knowledge in an exciting sector.

Requirements

Previous experience in the corporate travel management industry, ideally marine but not essential.

Competitive salary depending on knowledge and experience. Increasing holiday allowance based on continuous service. Open to discussions on working requirements.
