Accounts Assistant – Canterbury
An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant within a busy Accounts Department in Canterbury City Centre, to start at the beginning of 2018. Full time or part time hours can be negotiable for the right candidate, within our office hours of 8.30am-5.30pm. Please specify your preference on your application or covering letter.
The role would predominantly involve raising sales invoices and credit notes and supporting basic accounting duties. These tasks will include:assisting with credit control, dealing with email and telephone queries, processing credit card payments and general office admin. There are also some elements of sales ledger and purchase ledger tasks within the role.
We require a motivated individual who can work effectively as part of a team. They must take care to ensure their work is accurate and have a keen eye for detail. Good numerical, computer and communication skills are essential.
Accounts or office experience would be desirable but are not essential. We use industry related software and full training will be given.
Salary will be competitive for the right candidate.
