My Thoughts
This is the first time I have flown with this Thai low cost airline. Having just completed two flights I was surprisingly impressed. The service from check-in through to the actual flight itself was very good compared to other low cost carriers I have flown.
Check-in was a speedy process taking only 12 minutes from arriving at the airport to heading to security. Boarding commenced 20 minutes prior to departure and the announcements are in Thai and English. The aircraft were modern 737-800’s, with an efficient on-board service, free water and tea. Food was available at an additional cost.
Nok have a reputation for being late and my flights were no exception to this, being delayed for 20 minutes despite leaving the gate on time. However, to be fair to the airline air traffic control had held us due to the impending thunderstorm.
On arrival there were announcements on the plane informing which belt to collect baggage from, which was ready and waiting as I reached the belt.
